Chanukah Slides-n-Ladders Game / Travel Version
The rules need no explaining. Roll, move, climb a ladder, take a slide down, and the first player to the end wins - only here the board is dressed for Chanukah, so a game everyone already knows becomes part of the eight nights.
This edition is built to be packed - into a carry-on, a school bag or the seat pocket of a car on the way to Chanukah at the grandparents - rather than spread across a dining room table.
Chol hamoed style day trips, waiting rooms and long drives are exactly what it is for, and the small footprint means it can be played on a tray table or a bed. The English edition.
It is a reliable gift for the four-to-eight crowd, and it works for a mixed-age group because a younger child can play it without reading.
